Ute & Van roadside camp

Ute & Van roadside camp

G-Day this is my 2013 79 Landcruiser Dualcab,

Since purchasing new in March 2013 I rapidly fitted it up to complete a trip from Bunbury WA to Queensland's Cape York,I had less than 3 months to complete my build, to meet our schedule which was to leave home the first week of July 2013 for the next 4 months on the road.

First to be upgraded was a Dobinson suspension GVM upgrade to 3900kg which handled our fully laden set up including towing a van with ease (no air bags required).

BFGoodrich All Terrain's 285x75x16 x 6, ARB Bullbar & Sidestep, 12000lb Ironman winch, HID upgraded spotties, LED Lightbar, gme UHF, Canopy with DIY shelving for trip purpose only, reverse camera, Second spare tyre (never needed), Turbo timer, Roo Systems Exhaust & Chip (NEVER AGAIN), raised front & rear Diff breathers,Compressor, LED lighting in & around canopy, side awning, 2 x roof top tents, rear wheel spacer's (soon to be replaced with -55 offset rims).

Made to the cape via CREB Track, old Telegraph Track up & back, Cape Melville, Starke track, and tone of other places in between.

Roo sytems exhaust and chip
by: Simon

Just reading what you have put on your 79 dualcab an I have noticed that you put on a roo system chip and exhaust and you mentioned never again. Why is that? I'm thinking of doing the same to my 79 dualcab. Cheers
