Rating out of 10: 8

Brand: Mickey Thompson ATZ 4-Rib

Type: All Terrain

Tyre/Tire Size: 32"

Fitted on: Holden Rodeo 2007 RA7

Kilometers/miles done: 15,000

Pros: Aggressive, Great looking allrounder. Preforms well on road, sand, dirt and mud.

Cons: Sticky Mud gets caught in tread. Road noise when new higher than other All Terrains

Upgrading from light truck to off road tyres was an easy choice. Choosing the right tyre for me wasn't much harder.

With my mates showcasing Mud Terrains I wanted to attain a tyre which would suit me for all terrains but be upstanding against the terrains faced when I venture out in convoy with my Muddy mates.

However, with safety in mind for my young family and the majority of my driving done on bitumen I wanted to find a medium in a tyre to suit my lifestyle.
I opted for the Mickey Thompson ATZ 4 Rib which advertises use for 60% Road & Sand, 40% Dirt & Mud.

A good looking tyre which may be the closest All Terrain to show Mud Terrain qualities. Obviously not as good as a Muddy in their element with thick sticky mud being a problem I find myself having to spin the tyres to clear the treads. Otherwise a great, Aggresive allrounder.

I would buy these tyres again.
