Dodgy Specs lc79
I ordered lc79 dual cab in July from a local dealer based on information provided by Toyota, overall length from the end of the tray to front bumper 5220mm, my garage 5400mm.No worries.
Fitted Toyota tray after difficulty with dealer organizing aftermarket tray, upon delivery which was a stupidly long period vehicle delivered was 5550mm long. I tried then to fit a shorter tray to no success as the spare wheel would not fit under far enough.
Toyota's response was to accept no responsibility, fine print says "not to rely on specs"?. Hail storm approaching, the only option was to knock down garage wall into spare bedroom/WIFES craft room, so you can imagine what this is going to cost. I had repeatedly asked my dealer for spec updates in the 5 month delivery period. Thanks, Toyota
