Type: Wrangler MT/R Kevlar

Tyre/Tire Size: 265/75/16

Fitted on: 80 Series Landcruiser

Kilometers/miles done: Was around 60,000 km from memory.

Pros: Excellent off road traction. Very stable tyre on high speed gravel roads. Pilbara roads had trouble killing them

Cons: PRICE, Fuel consumption suffered on these tyres. Wear fast with heavy loads


I moved from Bridgestone AT's to the G/Y's due to other positive reviews I'd read about how good they were. I certainly couldn’t fault their performance. However I found the wear rates (practically on the rear when heavily loaded) where not the best, and I had a major diesel drinking problem with them on.

The big killer for me however is the purchase price, after running them I don't believe the purchase price justifies the performance. I've since returned to Bridgestone AT's
