Anchorage Caravan Park

The Anchorage Caravan Park at Kalbarri in Western Australia is well equipped with un powered and powered sites,with cabins if your sick of setting the tent up etc.

The toilet and shower block is basic but ok.
The park has lovely views of the Murchison River and some local pelicans hang out close by. There's also a pool.
Overall its a little tired but a nice break especially if you've come straight from the bush and hadn't showered in 3 days like we did!

Most importantly there is a bottle shop and cafe approx 2 min walk away (:

Nice to read about Anchorage Caravan Park which is situated in Australia.It is equipped with all the required facilities,it is an excellent place to spend vocations.

Great place, great staff, great price!

We decided to go camping at the last minute, so we packed up and started driving from Perth to Kalbarri.
We called up to book and the lady was very nice on the phone and said she would put us in a lovely spot.
When we arrived after 6 hours of driving we made our way to the office (mind you it was 10pm). They had left us a note on the door including a map of where our camp site was. Very easy to find as all the sites are numbered, so you have your own space.

After we set up camp we had showers. They have two small shower and toilet blocks and one big block. We used the small ones as they were close. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were perfect temp.

In the morning we headed to the office to check in.
The staff were very nice and the price was great. We had a drive around town and ended up finding some great 4x4 tracks.
We also went for a swim in the pool. They have one large pool and a kiddie pool which was great. The have a large BBQ and entertaining area, the kitchen is big with tables and chairs. We had a great time at this caravan park! It is well looked after, the staff are great and the views are breathtaking!

All ready planning our next trip. Very highly recommended!
